2010 AWARDS
Bronze APPA Award 2010 for Promotional Excellence in Business to Business Programs
Legislation had come into place to set new guidelines for the nutritional content of food in school tuck shops. Streets wanted to promote their healthier line of ice cream products (Moo) whilst increasing their sales. Working together with Unilever for their Streets Moo promotion, we came up with the idea of a ‘chance to win’ game card as an incentive with purchase to students. Further, we were also tasked with developing the branded rewards and the incremental distribution to Street’s localised warehouse. The results were an astounding 48% increase in sales and the highest number of sales to schools in history at the time.
Silver APPA Award 2010 for Promotional Excellence in Consumer Programs
We won the silver award in the APPA Consumer Programs category for AMF Bowling’s Money Box Pin. With a limited budget to spend, our client’s objective was to increase incremental revenue through a value-added incentive for customers buying bulk game tokens. Our answer was a life sized bowling pin shaped money box given out to those who bought bulk tokens. This resulted in more than triple the ROI and even became a collector’s item.
2009 AWARD
Silver Award Promotional Excellence Supplier and Distributor Joint Venture
This award is for great collaboration between a supplier and distributor. Hilti briefed us on recommending a gift with purchase product that tradesmen would use every day, in celebration of Hilti’s 40th birthday. With a very short lead time and last minute colour change from head office, Sweet Memories and Willow Ware worked very closely together to get the red of the cooler box as close to their pantone as possible. It was a great lesson learned that replicating a PMS colour on a product is not always as easy as achieving it on printed paper form. It was a successful joint venture that resulted in high sales for Hilti and very positive public feedback for the brand.

2017 NOMINATIONS
APPA 2017 Finalist for Merchandise Programs Category
We were briefed to come up with a product that would both increase sales of the Amway Home brand and boost the sales of its 3kg laundry detergent. We proposed a reusable storage tin (to replace easily damaged cardboard ones) that both looked good and kept the brand top of mind. This gift with purchase created a high than expected demand that the original order was doubled!
APPA 2017 Finalist for Limited Budget Category
Clorox needed a product that would keep their Chux Duets cleaning cloths together whilst keeping their branding front and centre to remind customers where the product is from. The client originally requested a metal hook or the like to hold the cloths that didn’t require screws. Our solution was a stick-on hook that executed impactful branding whilst being practical for the user at the same time.
